The Lozarithm Lens

Avebury

This view of the Avebury standing stones is of West Kennet Avenue in late spring, looking northwards towards the famous stone circle and henge complex. The avenue was a late addition, constructed around 2400 BC, and connected the south entrance of the sarsen henge to the Sanctuary, which lies on Overton Hill, one and a half miles away to the South.

Taken with a Pentax ME and a Tokina 20-35mm/f3.5 lens using Agfa HDC 200. Scan by Kodak.
