Outnumbered

Grappling for a title for today's blip, I happened to notice a fine sitcom soon to appear on TV with the same title. That's it! The single geranium flower amongst the many buttercups in this border stood out proudly. Despite being heavily outnumbered by the pretty yellow flowers, its purple-blue petals make a fine contract.

The light of the mid-evening was beginning to fade, requiring a longer exposure. This combined with a light breeze, blowing the flowers to and fro, meant I had quite a wait to capture a sharp shot of the delicate flower. The moment arrived in between gusts, and I took my chance. I hope you like it.
