Life with The Pinks

Boat

This boat is waiting expectantly for it's willing rowers. It's waiting for someone to pay the lady at the Kiosk in the boathouse, and get their oars, and try to steer themselves down the river a bit. It will try to avoid bashing into the banks of the river, or into any ducks or wading cows, but only if the rowers steer it in the right direction. And when they've finished their jaunt along the river, it will be put back in the same spot. The occupants will go and have an icecream or a cuppa, and it will wait.

The boat is at Dedham Boathouse. A restaurant on the side of the River Stour, that hires out boats. The same river is where John Constable painted his landscapes, and where we went to feed the ducks, to find them so full up they turned their backs on us, and waddled off in the other direction. We had an icecream instead.
