POSH PIGEON

This fat little chap sits on our back doorstep every morning waiting for his breakfast.
He was given to us by a friend to put into our dove cote with the doves. But being a posh pigeon he doesn't associate with the doves and prefers human company.
He has feathers on his feet which get wet and muddy and leaves little muddy foot prints all around our back door; He's very cute and friendly so we put up with his mess.
He arrived with a friend who became dinner in flight for a harrier hawk, as they are not particularly good flyers and easy pray for a sly hawk. This one seems to know it's safe to stay close to the house.
