We've got lots of aphids on one of our trees. They're secreting honeydew at the moment which happens when they feed on plant sap. The butterflies, flies, hornets and other insects are all swarmed round the tree. These red admirals wouldn't stay still long enough for me to take photos of them together so I just got this one on it's own.
