In Search of Puifin . . .

Water, water everywhere . . .

"Eau potable"

Throughout the city of Geneva these hydrants appear in parks, along busy avenues, outside libraries dispensing drinking water in this fashion, i.e. continuously running from an often amusing spigot. There seems to be no pattern, rhyme or reason to their presence.

Dogs lap up the nectar in the shallow impression on the ground. People fill bottles. Children swig from the cool stream.

Yet much of the World's population is in dire need of something as simple, yet so critical to their existence, as this precious drinkable water.
