Past times

Was round at my Mum's where she has this photo of her Mum and Dad and their 2 eldest children (my Uncle Bill and Auntie Betty). Bill was born in 1911, but my Mum couldn't quite remember when her sister arrived - so I'm dating the picture on how old Bill looks - I reckon he's maybe 5 or 6 years old which would mean it was taken around 1916? Perhaps?

My grandfather died before I was born. My gran passed away when I was about 5 so I don't remember much about her, other than the same great smile you see in this photograph.
