Proves the rule

Another flower. Please don't take exception.

I photographed this tulip, with its drooping petal, May 30 but didn't use it for a blip. Five breezy and/or rainy days later, it's still hanging in there, an orange exception to the pink and yellow tulips that I intended for this bed.

And an exception to my experience that when I see something I might like to photograph I shouldn't wait-- because the opportunity won't be repeated.
