Duckling

Today a gorgious day, no obligations, the sun is shining, 20 degrees in the shade. Didn't want to go out for long to make a picture.
I knew there had to be a mama duck with 8 ducklings. So I went for a stroll and found them near my house.
Mom still has all of her 8 babies. Even though some herons are very keen on our neighbourhood lately!

I have made a nice picture of mom with 2 ducklings.
But the one I put as my entry of the day is far most my favourite.
Or maybe this sibling could be a nice runner-up.
