The best farmers' market anywhere? #pdx

We're in Portland! A very long day yesterday to get here.

Glorious sun today - apparently the first in a while. We spent a wonderful morning at Portland Farmers' Market marvelling at all the produce. In particular: wild mushrooms (morels and porcini), asparagus and strawberries. There were amazing bunches of peonies, my favourite see yesterday's backblip; cookery demonstrations, musicians, food stalls (a really great corn chowder ..) so many prodce stalls and so on. I will be writing about this more on my blog.
