Around the Block

BMW meets Guernica

On a grey morning, we went out up the Falls Road and down the Shankill Road to look at some of the murals dotted around Belfast, either on gable ends, on the 'peace wall' (think Berlin Wall, in original purpose), and on this stretch there are some pictorial pleas on behalf of the Basque and Palestian independence causes; the Guernica replica being part of the former.

The sun came out later and we walked round the new trendy, arty area around the cathedral which also has a good selection of restaurants and bars, before coming back home to, guess what, do some blipping!! I think it's a Chinese tonight!

PS As it's a slice crop, large may show it better!
