Day off today and supposed to be revising for exam at the weekend but it was a lovely morning and the sun came out so, instead, Ollie and I went to see the calves. They like us and we like them!

At Agricultural College in the '70s we were given cows' leg from the abbatoir on which to practise hoof trimming. The knee ends were wrapped in paper sacks.

These all have all their legs. Thankfully.
