World cup Down hill

I could have posted a good picture of Gee Atherton, British star of the DH circuit on his way to his first win in front of a home crowd. A truly remarkable ride for a great rider.

However, I didn't.

This is Cedric Gracia. Gracia is one of the most popular riders on the circuit. He didn't win and he didn't come close. However the 'no hander' he pulled at 30mph on the 'Scotland Jump' followed by the massive whip as he exited the bowl in the finish will be as memorable as Gee Athertons win.

A real hero of mountain bike racing.
