Lucy is unimpressed with the iPhone.

She's been anticipating it for months, speaks about it nonstop and got rather excited when it was leaked a while back. Lucy wants her new iPhone.

But now she's watched Steve Jobs speech about it and is severely underwhelmed. (And got increasingly fed up of him telling people off for having their wifi on during the speech...)

All phones have a camera. Why is this a big deal? So does...you know...HER CAMERA. Also, she reminded me of the video chat phenomemon of the early 00s. That didn't take off. Hmm...

A gyroscope? Really? If she wanted to play games, she says, she'd buy a Nintendo DS. Unless it's got the battery life of a Duracell, it will last 5 minutes playing games.

Does it need to be thinner she wonders? Sure it might make it easier to take jogging with her but it's not really worth an update. The new casing is a bit useless too. What function does it serve exactly? She's unconvinced...

All in all she thinks she's going to stick with her HTC Hero. It might not have the street cred that the iPhone does but she can sleep at night. ;)
