Art exhibition

The big class at the school opened their art exhibition today. Called 'Capturing Movement and Energy' it contained the children's interpretation of volcanic eruptions in print.

As a doting parent you are always going to think your offsprings work is fabulous but these really were. Very creative, professional, well executed and well displayed.

We were offered refreshments and a catalogue on entry and shown around by a very knowledgeable guide. Who explained who the artists were, the print techniques involved... then flogged us prints.

Nice to see these kids are enterprising as well as talented. Hopefully they will soon have raised enough money to buy a flagpole to fly their Eco schools green flag from.
