Up in the Clouds

Our 27th Anniversary today! We got the car loaded up for a 10-day "2nd Honeymoon" trip and headed to the desert for the start of the 3-day Joshua Tree Music Festival. We didn't get far before we felt the clutch slipping in our car, that had been tuned-up only the day before! Our trusted mechanic, of 20+ years, was waiting with great concern as we made a detour to his shop. Good news was that
it was only a re-adjustment, and not a new clutch, that had us back out on the road in a jiffy. We were so blissed out by the promise of our time together that lay ahead, that we just couldn't be upset about anything. We are calling this trip our second honeymoon, because since our first little honeymoon trip, (four days and three nights), back in 1983, we haven't celebrated our anniversary with a trip until now. As the light was fading, and we were sailing on the highway to heaven, I realized I hadn't taken any "blip" photos yet. So I rolled down the window, breathed in the splendor flying by, and snapped!
