Ada Covered Bridge

I've blipped the Bridge once before and today is a side view.

The bridge is a reconstructed wooden truss bridge, the original of which was built around 1867. It was closed to car traffic in 1930 and restored in 1941. After collapsing from heavy snow it was repaired and was then promptly destroyed by fire, all in 1979.

Rebuilt once again in 1979, the bridge is open to pedestrians only, and has peacefully spanned the Thornapple River ever since.
