A Quiet Spot

Blue sky and sun greeted us today,
  lovely and warm with a gentle breeze.
Spent some time at the river,
  watching ducks and children play.

The colours were vibrant and bright,
  to match the childrens mood.
But theres always a quiet spot to be
  found, down by the river side.

Just a good old Saturday for our family.  Daughter E had dance lessons, hubby was at work and Mum and I did our groceries.  Plenty of people out and about being such a lovely Winters day.  Daughter A is coming home tomorrow for 2 whole weeks, can't wait, she can't wait either.....Roll on Sunday :)
