Green

We decided to go for a walk this afternoon. Ben is catching the sleeper train tonight then a flight to Abu Dhabi, so we thought it would help him sleep.

We set off, each of the children with their rucksacks containing water, cossie and towel. As the sun was shining we didn't think we needed much else....

We walked down to the beach. The path goes along the side of a nature reserve and is very sheltered by trees, so we were suprised to find it drizzling by the time we emerged.

We decided to scrap ice cream at the first beach and head around the headland to the next beach. As the drizzle became slightly heavier, I quickly snapped the shot above of Lily with my iphone, my camera being in the baby carrier on Ben's back some way ahead!

We got our ice creams at the next beach and sent Ben to run ahead and fetch the car. We struggled up the hill and made it half way home before Ben appeared again.....oh and the rain stopped too.

Oh well, I think we'll all sleep well tonight anyway.
