this is Cairo

I took a few photos of pedestrians crossing the street today. It's a miracle I was able to get any where they weren't weaving in and out of passing cars, but I got two that I particularly liked. The other one can be seen here and with a different treatment here

As photographs go - in terms of composition - this is not my favourite But I've chosen it for today's picture it because as Cairo goes - I think this is (almost) a perfect eclectic mix of people to represent this big mess of a confused city.
