I had a blissful sleep last night and woke feeling so much brighter. It was a relief as we had eight coming for lunch and I had been wondering if I should cancel. Nick cooked away and I made a blueberry tart and some chocolate cheesecake brownies with raspberry cream . Lunch was great, lots of chat and the sun even made an appearance in the late afternoon. We had a lazy evening and I was in bed by eight thirty sleepily watching The Grocer's Son on my lap top. I love LOVE that film - it's like chicken soup for the soul.
