07.45 and i'm at the bus-stop
near Taste Good Chinese
across from the train-tracks

in the winter it's dark and the moon is high
in the summer it's light and the sun is high

the Caledonian Brewery
is already at work
steam from its chimneys
fumes from its lorries

07.48 the bus comes along
i step aboard
pay the fare
take the Metro
and settle down
to peruse the news.

It was tempting to blip yet another bumble-bee but i resisted. I've had to start a web album for my growing collection. It's called Bumblings
