"Return of the Lupins"

Took this shot at 8-45pm. This picture does`nt give the slightest hint of the quantity of Lupins that grow along the riverside.. I walked amongst them with great care and was amazed at the the number of small plants that are spreading outwards from the main body. Lupins are high in Nitrogen and are very good for the soil...I will visit another area further down the river later that also has a high concentration of Lupins and other wild flowers.. Watch this space... P.S. Used a little flash here covered by my hankie to balance out the light and improve the exposure balance... P.P.S. In the distance you can just make out how prolific they are...
