Took a detour on the way home to see if I could get a night shot of the Antony Gormley installation Exposure that they've been building near Macmerry.
Three problems with this scenario: (i) it was nowhere near dark at 10.30, (ii) it's no longer lit up, and (iii) they've started dismantling it.
Unfortunately, this was only ever a trial assembly: the figure is now being taken apart (all 5,468 pieces of it, along with 14,284 bolts) and transported to Lelystad in Holland. It'll then be assembled there this summer.
This is all very well for the good people of Lelystad. But all I get is a pair of squatting metal legs in some bad light.
