Lightbulb moment

It's all very well, this environmental lark, but when was the last time you saw a cartoon character with an energy saving light bulb over it's head to signify a good idea?

Also, experience shows that the light that they cast is not bright enough to allow the removal of a splinter from the foot of a wailing child.

Aesthetically though they are quite pleasing, I like the shadow that it casts.
