Arundel Castle

Today was cool and windy, but with some lovely sun shining through.

I decided to take a trip to Arundel, in search of pretty things to photograph.

What could be prettier than the sun shining through the trees onto a thousand-year-old castle, right? Ok, so she's had some work done, but I still think she looks fantastic for her age :D



My grandfather was an artist (oil paints, mainly) who used to love painting this castle - from right about the position this picture was taken. He painted hundreds of pictures of the castle, and displayed (and sold) them all across the region. I love how I was in the same place he had been so often, using the same inspiration for my art as he did for his.
