sparrows

A couple of days ago someone told me, one can feed birds through out the whole year.
I did have a feedingplace through the winter but not one bird came to our garden. Till yesterday, I saw 2 sparrows checking out my (empty) feedingplace, so I put some bread in it and hoped for more birds to come.
Well today a whole bunch of sparrows came and were fighting over the bread. Some of them were just watching the fight from the fench.
The fighting ones were not easy to catch so I settled for this picture.
Hoping they will come more often now.
