Palki

It is all sinking in slowly...or maybe, it is not. I don't know how I feel about the whole thing...I don't know how I am supposed to feel either. Relatives have started leaving. Brother also went back today. We really wished he could stay back for a few more days but his work needed him.
This is a Palki. In olden days, the bride used to travel to her new home in this. The bride used to sit inside this carriage and 4 people on foot used to carry this on their shoulders all the way through. In our case, the bride was a little too big to fit into this miniature Palki.
