Wepham view

Been to art class in Wepham once again today. Will post a shot of the painting some other day. Today I just had to post this. The light and clouds were just great. Very warm too. This is the view from the garden at the back of the art class building... I always want to get down into those fields one day but unfortunately most of it is private land. Bleh.

To balance the sky and foreground I used something called iContrast on the S90. Set iContrast to auto, point at the sky, lock exposure, recompose and focus on the foreground, shoot, and iContrast intelligently brightens the foreground (whilst the sky exposure stops the clouds from disappearing), which I then worked further in Photoshop. It works surprisingly well. Good job Canon!
