Flowers Along the Dee

Went a quick bliprun today after food shopping, and was totally taken by the colour an actions of these flowers (poppies? Anyone who follows my journal will see a recurring theme which is me photographing flowers but not having a clue what they are)

Anyway, these were the only thing around that wasn't green, just a handful of them, with the River Dee in the background going inland. They were dancing away in the wind and looked stunning. This is straight off the camera too - they really were this bright!
