U.S.Open

This is a replica of the United States Open Championship Trophy.
I wanted to do a US Open blip and I thought I'd have a little more time today. It was not to be. This replica resides in the trophy case at Oakland Hills Country Club. OHCC has hosted five US Opens, the most recent in 1996 won by Steve Jones. In years past the trophy has been on display in the pro shop during US Open/Fathers Day weekend. Not this year. I wish I didn't have to shoot it through glass.

This years Open is being held at Pebble Beach. Some day I'll play there too.
