Gregory's Girl

In the 40th anniversary year of Bill Forsyth's breakthrough film Gregory's Girl, a small tribute to the film's spirit taken on the main concourse of Glasgow's splendid Central Station.

I love this station more than any other in Britain and couldn't tell you the number of times I've run helter-skelter across the concourse to my platform which, of course, was always the furthest away! I stopped off in the centre of Glasgow en route from Prestwick Airport via Largs to Edinburgh, and for all I love Edinburgh, sometimes there is nothing to beat Glasgow!
