Bye bye Converse (at least temporarily)

A hole has developed in the right sole of my Converse. It's not much of a problem, except for when it rains. When the streets are wet, water soaks into the shoe from the bottom and turns it into a boat. It then makes an embarrassing squeaky noise when I walk.

Bought a pair of Ash in the sales. After all, I have been buying a new pair of Converse (mostly red) every summer for the past seven years.
