THE HAT SPEAKS !!

so, Paul came sauntering into studio this morning wearing a John Deere hat ....and I nearly fell backwards off my chair ... I mean, the dude was wearing this John Deere hat!!

talk about knocking me down gently with a sledge hammer ... because, if you knew Paul (our Vt editor) you would realize how out of character the hat was, allied to his usual sartorial agenda!

Paul knows I'm all for affecting sensibilities ... but at 10.00 on a Tuesday morning this was nearly more than this old boy could cope with ... what do the youth of today ever think of ... I ask you?
