Foxglove

Digitalis purpurea (Common Foxglove, Purple Foxglove or Lady's Glove).
We have these flowers in our garden and every year it's coming back at another place.
It's a lovely flower but the leaves, flowers and seeds of this plant are all poisonous to humans and some animals and can be fatal if eaten. No wonder the roe deer let it alone.

Extracted from the leaves is used as a medication for heart failure.
