WHAT A SHAME

I couldn't resist taking this picture, it's the second time I thought about taking it but felt too gulity the first time... These belong to my brothers friend, they are a lot worse than they look in the photo, the front has a huge gaping hole in it so the toes can escape. I can't understand how a mother can let her son leave the house wearing these especially now that the weather is soo bad - surely she's not that poor, it's 2006 not 1906!!!
