Gong at the gates

In the downtown of Oulu there is old army base, which was shut down some years ago. Nowadays the area has some city office buildings, education centers and private research institutes plus a famous restaurant that has been put the old officers club..

Still the area has some echoes from the past as these old french cannons that were last used in second world war, staring proudly to the city.
