RW's Daily Exposures

Adobe Semaphore

I was downtown San Jose early this evening and I couldn't resist another shot of the "Mothership" (Adobe Headquarters). I looked around for a bin with free software, mis-marked photoshop CS5 or something for free, no luck!

However, in this shot you can see the fairly famous Adobe Semaphore "circles." These circles are constantly moving 24/7, only to stop for a few moments in some configuration to send out a small part of a message and then startup again for another part of the message.

Adobe did this to entertain the masses and setup a challenge for the entire message to be deciphered. I could go on, but it took quite a bit of computing horsepower and a lot of time before someone (group) finally figured it out.
