how it is

Red

This large succulent plant stands in my front porch, where it enjoys the morning sun. It was inherited from an old lady I befriended after her husband died - I conducted both their funerals.

It's seriously neglected, yet still flowers at this time every year - anything up to a dozen flowers over a couple of weeks. The flowers are three to four inches across, and last about a day.
