The fool on the hill

Steeptow and sun

I really should get a new glider. It looks like something I bought from the scrap yard. The sail is moldy, the Mylar is delaminating and the nuts and bolts are a bit rusty. And yet it flies really sweetly. And it's structurally sound which is probably a good thing.
This was taken at around 9pm - and Donald towed up Al after this one.
When British summers work they are perfect. And we had a pint after. And I came home to see Tilly still awake (which was nice) and B and a Waitrose French chicken casoulet thing in the oven.
Perfect.
