Teeth Floating Day

Today was a big day! The vet came to the stables and floated a lot of horses' teeth.

Floating is when the vet takes a hand or electric rasp and grinds down the rough or sharp surfaces of the teeth. Horses' teeth grow their entire life, and eating unnatural foods like grain and having unnatural things in their mouths (like bits) makes the teeth have sharp edges that can hurt the insides of their mouths.

This is Little Joe (not my pony) getting his teeth done!
