Wet and Sizzling

Well you would have thought it would be a pretty safe bet planning a BBQ on what was supposedly to have going to be the hottest day of the year so far. Well it was...until our guests arrived that is, and then the heavens opened and the BBQ was cooked under an umbrella.

After we had eaten the rain did stop allowing us to sit outside but we had to try various things to keep ourselves warm...including setting a bottle of beer on fire ;-)

The conversation was wide ranging, interesting and fairly intellectual until my Aunt picked out a Grape from the bowl and pronounced '...it looks like a bottom!'. Well after that we just had to discuss various interesting shaped vegetables and other facts of similiar earth shaking gravity.

....a good time was had by all....despite the rain.
