Shoes on a line

Glasgow was the destination for today. Heading through for N's leaving/ birthday do at the Halt Bar in Glasgow. This bar, with it's laminate flooring walls was a sauna, and with the licensing laws as they are we couldn't drink outside in a "normal" temperature.
Therefore at some point in the night we disappeared for an hour and went to a sociable bar in Great Western Road called The Liquid Ship. This bar held such luxuries as
* Working beer taps
* Air conditioning
* Seats
* Lights
* A DJ with a decent taste in music.

We did however head back to N's party at kicking out time to head onwards to the after party, but we didn't stay long as people decided to smoke in the house. Being Scottish and now very intolerant to such actions we went to our chosen place to sleep - S's cousin's house that was about 10 doors down. All in all it was a very good night for all.

It must however be noted that near to the Halt Bar there was a snack van - this served the best Lorne sausage roll I've had for a while in a "Crispy" roll. However, I had partaken in a few drinks, so my judgement may have been slightly jaded in this assessment.
