Echinea purporium???

I used to know all the latin names of many species of flower and even how to spell them correctly. But the brain has some wear and tear on it and now I forget. Once in awhile I do have moments of clarity and can just give the latin names and amaze my friends. this echinea is in my garden and I also took a shot of a basket and then blended the 2 together. I like the texture it has given the rather ordinary (but beautiful) flower.
