It could have been a LOT worse!

Sounds like a poor result, and I suppose it would have been great to have scored a few points, but it was not a complete disaster.
Frank Hadden fielded players from the lower ranks in order to avoid injury to the better guys. We were never going to overcome this amazingly strong fast and agile team, and we need to beat Italy on Sunday. It was a very brave decision and, I think, a wise one. The team defended really well, despite what it looks like from the score.
The strips the teams were wearing were a real problem. They were so similar, it was impossible to tell the two teams apart. It seemed that there was just one big team out there, and it must have been worse for the players.
We had a great day - met Jonah Lomu and Scotand football team manager Alex McLeish - got Autographs and pictures.
