Butterflies in Chasahowitzka Wildlife Management

Had a snake rescue to get rid of and on my way out the road was covered with these guys. Used a telephoto advertised as a macro also on my tripod but macro shots suck with this. Lots of details are hazed over. Distance shots are much better but macros with it are bad.Tamron 75-300 !:4-5.8
