Poker Footy

So we gathered to watch what can truly only be described as a game of two halves with the first half being mindnumbingly boring and the second bringing everyone to the edge of their seats (apart from Joe who was quietly iPhoning). Having Spain in the sweepstake at work put rather on the fringe as everyone else seemed to be gunning for the underdogs but two missed penalties and several good shouts for more ignored Spain manged to limp past the post in first position, phew!

Poker was thus delayed and despite efforts to speed it up we were playing till around 2ish and I eventually won due to the injection of Gav's chips after he gracefully bowed out anf Joe suggested his chips were just put in the pot for the winner of the next hand. As he'd been massive ship leader for some time he may have rued this decision later as I was at deaths door when I took this hand to bring me back into the game.

Farmers' market anniversay was a bit limp, expected maybe a bit more than face painting and a cookery demonstration from someone I've never heard of but the produce was as good as ever and tomorrow's dinner will be rather tasty.

Buoght some music after that, Tuung album on vinyl which is very nively packaged but not as good as the last album, Crippled Black Phoenix boxed set of the complete first two albums rather than the compilation that was 200 Tons of Bad Luck.
