Stop and Smell the Toeses

Big toe of a bronze statue of Ghandi outside a children's museum in downtown Raleigh. Because, really, do you ever stop and look at a statue's toes? Face, most definitely. Hands perhaps. Clothing details, informational plaque, probably. But toes? I got odd looks from the mother and her kids who walked past me at the time. They'll never take the time to look at Ghandi's toes.
