What a pretty little city this is! We arrived about noon from Prague. It is Sunday afternoon and the city is dead! As dead as most towns at home were 20 or more years ago no a Sunday. I guess tourism is not as big here in Brno ;)
Karin and I took a walk into the city centre to scare up some lunch. Friends, Rina & Martin, joined us. It was a lovely walk there and back and we enjoyed the time together talking over lunch and beers. Oh my, how I love the beer here! Interesting though that Karin has noted she's getting a lot of headaches from the beer. And even I noticed a bit of a headache a couple of times that I am inclined to blame the beer for.
After lunch we spent a bit of time at the hotel resting up for tonight.
This image was taken just in front of one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen! The St. Peter and Paul Cathedral. The interior was amazing. But it was the sound we created there that made the hair on my arms stand on end. It was so beautiful. Tonight's concert was very successful :)
Tomorrow, we're off to Vienna...
