not quite the point but still

At some point we'll have to take the wingpiglet for a proper trundle round the botanics before he comes to associate "going to the botanics" as going for a trundle along to the botanics then watching everyone eat a cake and drink a coffee at the café before heading back along the river walkway, popping past Nicky's allotment on the way to demonstrate it to various sets of grandparents, neither of whom had seen it before and both of whom have now assisted in performing such visits to the botanics with the only variations being the direction of approach and the general speed of perambulation. Next time we go we'll have to make sure we point at some trees and plants and indicate out the various things of interest such as the rescue-safety lines next to the ponds which were made in the village my parents live in and the original of the bench my dad vaguely copied for the garden, though using decking instead of hand-hewn organic rarewood.
